For more than 25 years, dogs have been a meaningful part of our family and our lives. What began as a love for raising beautiful, well-loved dogs has grown into O’Hearon’s Amazing Puppies — a small, family-centered breeding program located in Utah County.
Our puppies are raised right in our home, surrounded by everyday family life, individual attention, and lots of love. Every pairing is thoughtfully planned with a focus on health, temperament, structure, and the beautiful coats our OAP families have come to love.
But for us, breeding has never been only about producing beautiful puppies. It’s about raising confident, loving companions and helping each family find the puppy that truly feels meant for them.
The Family Behind OAP
Family has always been at the heart of O’Hearon’s Amazing Puppies. Our dogs aren’t raised in a kennel separate from our lives, they’re part of our everyday lives. Our children have grown up alongside our dogs and puppies, and now our grandchildren get to be part of that same experience.
Over the years, our breeding program has grown and evolved, but the way we raise our puppies hasn’t changed. They grow up surrounded by the normal sights, sounds, activity, and affection of a real home. From tiny newborns needing around-the-clock care to curious puppies discovering the world, we’re there for every stage.
We believe that beginning is important. Our goal isn’t simply to send families home with a beautiful Bernedoodle, it’s to raise a puppy who has been known, loved, and thoughtfully prepared for the family waiting for them.
Where It All Began
The little dog who started something much bigger.
Bear was the beginning.
Long before O’Hearon’s Amazing Puppies, before we had children, and before I ever imagined becoming a breeder, there was Bear.
Bear was a gift from my fiancé, Bryon, who is now my husband. I never brought him home with plans to breed dogs. He was simply my little dog, and before I had children of my own, he really was my baby.
Breeding came into our lives almost by accident. Bryon’s cousin had a female Poodle and wanted to have a litter. When she learned that I had a tiny male Poodle, we connected and made plans to breed them. I had no idea at the time how much that experience would change the direction of my life.
That first litter made me fall in love with breeding. I loved raising those tiny puppies, watching them grow, and eventually seeing them become part of other families. What started unexpectedly with one little dog became something I would continue to love more than 25 years later.
Our program has grown tremendously since those early days. Today, there is much more intention behind every pairing, from health and genetics to temperament, structure, and how our puppies are raised. But the heart behind it is still very much the same.
Bear wasn’t purchased to start a breeding program. He was family. And completely by accident, he started one.

What I Want for Every OAP Family
The right puppy is more than a purchase. It’s the beginning of a relationship.
When a family chooses one of our puppies, I want them to feel confident that their puppy has been loved, cared for, and thoughtfully raised from the very beginning. I want every puppy to leave our home prepared to become a deeply loved part of someone else’s family.
After more than 25 years, I still love watching those connections happen. Seeing updates, watching our puppies grow, and hearing how much they are loved is one of my favorite parts of what I do.
My hope is simple. I want every OAP puppy to bring their family the same kind of love and companionship that dogs have brought to our family for all these years.
